Asif Zardari embarrassed by constituents amid electoral campaign

LARKANA – Former president Asif Ali Zardari is facing a tough time, wooing the voters ahead of the upcoming elections as the masses seem to have decided demanding their due rights.

A short video of Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairman addressing his people has stumped the internet in which an elderly man can be heard pitching harsh questions before him.

Though the constituent is not visible in the video, however, the audio implies that the former state head is being apprised of the mistreatment meted out by police.

The aggrieved man is expressing his resentment in Sindhi language decrying the undue imprisonment of his fellow with Asif Zardari having no option than to listen the commentary.

Zardari is contesting the elections after a span of 25 years and he has submitted the nomination papers for NA-213 seat of the National Assembly.

As the electoral race has begun, the political leaders have started touring their towns to cajole the voters with many being grilled publicly.

The first one to face public scrutiny was Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’ former lawmaker Jamal Leghari who was stopped by constituents and shamed for his absence as a member of the assembly.

The next one in line was Sardar Jan Mazari who is contesting from NA-197 Kashmore and faced the wrath of his people for alleged inefficiency in the domian of education.

Moreover, former Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal was also stopped by the public who kept knocking the doors of his vehicle, however, the politician did not disembark from his vehicle.
