RAWALPINDI – A man assaulted and sheared off his wife’s hair on Tuesday, merely for using a mobile phone without his permission, police said.
The victim, whose identity was concealed told the Airport police that she was using her mobile phone when her husband arrived at their home in Gulzar-i-Quaid, Rawalpindi and became furious following which he started beating her.
The lady disclosed that her three brothers-in-law, who were also present, began beating her as well and she was threatened with dire consequences by her husband.
A senior police official said that the suspects (brothers-in-law) and the husband were arrested by police and placed in lock-up.
