ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has assured the MQM that their genuine concern would be addressed. Talking to a six-member MQM delegation which called on him in Islamabad on Monday he said that the peace in Karachi would bring prosperity for whole of the country.
The Prime Minister asked the MQM to remain in the parliament for the larger national interest and play its due role in the national affairs.
On this occasion, the MQM delegation presented to the Prime Minister their point of view on the Karachi operation.
Amir of JUI-F Maulana Fazalur Rehman, Minister for Finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid, and Minister for Housing Akram Khan Durrani were also present in the meeting.
The MQM delegation was comprised of Farooq Sattar, Senator Muhammad Ali Saif, Kanwar Naveed Jameel, Muhammad Rehan Hashmi, Waseem Akhtar and Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani.
