Four injured in Peshawar blast

PESHAWAR (Staff Report) – At least four people were severely injured on Sunday morning when a powerful blast hit Peshawar’s Phando Chowk area.

The law enforcement agencies and rescue teams rushed to blast site immediately. The area has been cordoned off by security agencies and nobody was allowed to enter.

Rescue officials said that at least four people were injured in the tragedy. A local religious leader was also among the injured.

According to police, the nature of blast was being investigated. However they said the initial information suggested that the car of a religious leader was targeted. The car was also damaged in the blast.
