Dongguan – Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is going to launch ‘Apex’ bezel-less smartphone on 12 June.
Vivo Apex, a prototype phone which was revealed at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018.
The smartphone is bezel-less with the highest screen-to-body ratio.
Vivo Apex shown at MWC has a 5.99-inch FHD+ (1080 x 1920 pixels) OLED screen, Snapdragon 845, under screen display fingerprint sensor and a pop-up selfie camera.
Vivo has taken the technology to a whole new level by featuring new engineering breakthroughs in camera, speaker, and sensor elements as well as rethinking the design structure of conventional smartphones. Vivo Apex is the first smartphone to solve the problems surrounding an all-display smartphone.
Transforming the entire bottom half of the OLED screen, users can touch anywhere on the bottom half of the screen to perform fingerprint recognition, enabling a more flexible and intuitive experience.
