PTI worker booked for shooting husband in Peshawar

PESHAWAR – Police have registered a case against a female worker of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for shooting and injuring her husband over a domestic row in Peshawar.

The accused identified as Nazuk Bibi, according to a media report, had a heated exchange of words with her spouse at the home located in Faqirabad area before she opened fire on the victim.

The injured man was shifted to a nearby hospital by the neigbours where his condition is said to be stable.

Initial reports suggested that the culprit fled the scene unchallenged after shooting her husband. Police have launched an investigation into the case.

In August, Pashto stage actress and singer Resham alias Reshma was shot dead by her husband.

Reshma was the fourth wife of the suspect, and she lived with her brother in Hakimabad area of the Noshehra city.
