Sartaj seeks global cooperation in ending Indian atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir

NEW YORK (Web Desk) – Foreign Ministers of Organization of Islamic Cooperation have reaffirmed their full support to the right to self-determination of the people of occupied Kashmir.

The support came at annual coordination meeting of the 57 OIC member countries in New York with Foreign Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah in the chair.

The OIC Foreign Ministers called for resolution of the decades old Kashmir issue as per resolutions of the UN Security Council.

Speaking at the meeting, the Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said the aggression by Indian occupation forces took a new turn following the extra-judicial killing of the Kashmiri youth leader, Burhan Wani.

He called on the international community to help end Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir and implementation of the UNSC resolutions providing Kashmiris their right to self-determination.

The Adviser also reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support to the cause of Palestine and restoration of peace and stability in the Middle East and Afghanistan.
