KARACHI – Gold prices shattered all previous records to surge to fresh high in domestic market of Pakistan amid rising global prices on Tuesday.
Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price increased by Rs1,100 to reach Rs273,000.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold moved up by Rs973 to close at Rs234,053.
In the international market, the yellow metal registered upward trend as per ounce price increased by $11 to reach $2,628.
A day earlier, gold registered downward trend in domestic market of Pakistan on Monday as per tola gold price decreased by Ry600 to settle at Rs271,900.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold plunged by Rs471 to close at Rs233,100.
