JAKARTA – Pakistani athlete Nargis has won first ever medal in Karate competition at an ongoing Asian Games 2018.
Nargis on Saturday clinched the medal after overpowering Nepal’s Rita Karki in women’s +68kg Karate tournament to bag the bronze medal.
This is the second medal for Pakistan in Asian Games 2018.
Earlier, Pakistan thrashed Kazakhstan by a 16-0 in their third match of the Asian Games Hockey competition on Friday at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Sports Complex, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Previously, Pakistan beat Thailand 10-0 to record their victory in the opener of the tournament. Oman was defeated by national heroes in their second match by 10-0.
