Peshawar Zalmi owner felicitates Imran Khan on taking over as PM Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - The CEO and chairman of Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi, extended on Saturday his warm congratulations to newly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.

Javed Afridi expressed hope for better Pakistan under the leadership of Imran Khan, adding that Pakistan will progress by leaps and bounds and sports activities will surge to a new peak.

Afridi also thanked PM Khan for appreciating the efforts made by Peshawar Zalmi to promote healthy activities in the country.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi head extended his help for the victims of floods in India amid a bitter diplomatic row between the two South Asian neighbours.
