LAHORE (Web Desk) – The academic credentials of Faisal Younis, the elder brother of former fast bowler and Pakistan cricket team head coach Waqar Younis, for intermediate and bachelors are reportedly forged.
Faisal Younis, who is a pilot in the national flag carrier, joined Pakistan International Airlines back in 2003 and had a commercial pilot’s licence at the time. He has been operating PIA airbus these days.
Since a number of lawmakers have been disqualified for possessing fake credentials, the National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee is of the view that such a crime on behalf of a working pilot cannot be overlooked.
Faisal Younis has not yet been disqualified as pilot, but his seniority has been curtailed by three years.
According to Civil Aviation Authority official Muhammad Ali Gardezi, Faisal Younis’s pilot licence is not fake, but his FA and BA credentials are.
