Ireland beat UAE by 2 wickets

BRISBANE (Web Desk) – Ireland defeated United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 2 wickets in the cricket world cup 2015, when it sensationally chased the target of 279 runs in Brisbane cricket stadium on Wednesday.
Ireland looked a long shot for victory at 4 for 97 in the 26th over, but a brilliant partnership between Gary Wilson (80) and Kevin O’Brien (50) brought the Irish back into the match.
UAE, while batting first after winning the toss, put 278 runs on the board when Shaiman Anwar thrashed the Irish bowlers by scoring 106 runs.
Ireland chased down the target with just four balls remaining.
Ireland moved to number four at the points table in pool b after its second victory in the mega event.
Ireland, the upset expert, beat West Indies in their opening match of the world cup 2015.
