QUETTA (Staff Report) – In the wake of terrorist attack at Charsadda’s Bacha Khan University, Balochistan government has decided to deploy special contingents of ‘Campus Force’ at universities, in a bid to foil any possible terrorist attack.
The decision was taken during a top level meeting meeting chaired by Chief MInister Sanaullah Zehri.
A statement issued after the meeting said that Campus Force will armed with modern weapons and specially trained to protect educational institutions and public places.
In the need of hour, the Campus Force will act as quick response force and combat terrorists, it added. The force will work under university vice chancellors.
