LAHORE (Web Desk) – The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Friday announced the names of position holders of the Matriculation examination 2015.
Divisional Public School Model Town outclassed all other schools. DPS Model Town girl Shafaq Zahid topped with 1080 marks out of 1100, followed by Aleena Muhsan of the same school with 1079 marks. Securing 1078 marks, Model Town DPS student Era Abid, Ayesha Noor of Nankana Sahib Pak Garrison Girls High School and Lahore Central Model High School lad Imtenan Fazal shared the third position.
Shafaq Zahid topped the Science Group (Girls), followed by Aleena, Era Abid and Ayesha Noor.
In Arts Group (Boys), private candidate from Choburgi Park Usama Abid clinched first position by securing 1031 marks, Habibullah Ibraheem of Islamia Model High School Multan Road stood second securing 1018 numbers and another private student of Khudian Kasur, Muhammad Asim bagged third position with 991 marks.
Arts Group (Girls), Rimsha Ameen of Farooqi Girls High School Ravi Road topped with 1053 marks, followed by Afsha Shah Din of Society Public Girls High School Mughalpura with 1052 and Ameena Farooq of Farooqi Girls High School with 1048 marks.
In Science Group (Boys), Muhammad Imtenan Fazal of Central Model School secured first position, followed by Muhammad Hunzla Younas and Talha Bin Asad of Islamic Public High School Green Town.
BISE Chairman Nasrullah Virk, along with Secretary and Controller Examinations, announced the names of position holders in a press conference on Friday. The Lahore Board will hold an award distribution ceremony at Alhamra Hall today (Saturday). MNA Hamza Shahbaz will be the chief guest.
Toppers want to be doctors: The top three position holders of Science group – Shafaq, Aleena and Era told the media that they want to become doctors to help ailing people. They credited their success to their parents.
