Indian actor Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is enjoying full house not only in India but also in Pakistan.

But looks like Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat’s ‘Bangistan’ might not see the light of day in Pakistan.

News coming in that the movie is banned in Pakistan due to anti-Pakistan content, Emirates 24/7 reported.

Producer of movie is not happy with the decision of Pakistani censor board and written a letter to Pakistan ministry to review the decision.

Movie’s co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani wrote that one cannot decide that the movie is anti-Pakistan or anti-Muslim by just watching the trailer.

He said the movie is anti-terrorism and since Pakistan is as much a victim of this global menace as any other country, it is in their interest to screen the film.

Producer and director of movie applied for Pakistani visa and he wants to visit Pakistan along with leading actors, Ritesh and Pulkit to show the film to ministry and censor board.

He said that he wants to prove that their intentions are fair.

‘Bangistan’ is about two suicide bombers, Hafeez Bin Ali/Ishwarchand Sharma (Riteish) and Allah Rakha Khan/Praveen Chaturvedi (Pulkit), who’ve been brainwashed into an explosive mission but eventually realise the death wish is a futile exercise.

Directed by Karan Anshuman, Bangistan also stars Jacqueline Fernandez. It is slated to release on July 30 in the UAE.
