Facing Clicking/Ticking sound on Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL? Google presents weird solution

WASHINGTON – Search engine giant Google launched its 2 smartphones ‘Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2XL’ but after its launch, many users reported the issue of ‘Burnt ScreenDimmingg Screen’ on Google Public Forum.

Apart from that, many others were also reporting that their devices produced some annoying ‘Clicking and high pitch sounds’.

“Whenever the phone is unlocked, I can hear a constant ticking (like the second hand of a watch) if the phone is against my ear. Doesn’t happen when the screen is off, or when the screen is on but the phone is locked.” reported a user on Google official forum.

But the search giant presented a solution that is more of a temporary band-aid measure instead of recalling the devices as done by Samsung after its Galaxy Note 7 model suffered explosion as reported by multiple users.

According to Google’s Community manager on (Google pixel official forum) Oriin, the glitch only affects some smart phone users and doesn’t affect the performance of devices anyways.

The only viable solution presented by the Google official was turning off NFC (Near-field communication) on affected units.

Sadly, there’s no fixed solution and information available on when the issue will be fixed permanently.
