QUETTA – At least two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were martyred by unknown armed personnel in Panjgur on Thursday.
According to Inspector General Major Gen. Saeed Ahmed Nagra, unknown armed men opened fire on the convoy of FC in Panjgur area. IGFC and all other personnel remained unhurt in the attack, he added.
Meanwhile, addressing a news conference in Quetta on Thursday evening, Minister of State for Interior Sheharyar Khan Afridi strongly condemned the terror bid.
He said that such coward acts cannot deter our resolve against terrorism and the war on terror would be kept continued till elimination of the last terrorist.
The minister of state invited the decedent elements to come to the negotiation table with the government and join the national mainstream line for the sake of playing their constructive role in the progress and prosperity of the country.
