KARACHI – As many as 70 suspects have been detained by personnel of the intelligence agencies on early Sunday morning under Operation RaddulFasaad in the port city.
“A man was also killed by police in Mominabad area of Orangi Town in a clash with alleged dacoits,” reported Geo TV.
According to reports, the search operations were conducted in the areas of Gulberg, Joharabad, Azizabad, Haideri Market, Taimuria, New Karachi.
According to ISPR, 600 suspects were arrested in more than 200 raids conducted by the authorities in Punjab. In Lahore, nine suspects were detained from Model Town, whereas, in Vehari, 45 people were apprehended.
