Pakistan, West Indies qualifying chances for ICC Champions Trophy

HAMBANTOTA (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s chances to qualify for the last edition of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 have once again been uncertain as Pakistan lost the fifth and the last game against Sri Lanka at Hambantota on Sunday.

Though, Pakistan is still on the 8th spot with 89.74 points in ICC ODI ranking followed by West Indies on 9th with 88.4 points. The minor difference between both teams can be surpassed as West Indies are in talks with different Cricket Boards to play a three-match ODI series to grab a qualifying chance for the Trophy.

On the other hand, PCB would be quite concerned after defeat as they have closed all the doors after declining from the tri-series and then putting on hold Zimbabwe tour.
