Terror attack in India: Armed men stormed police station, killing three people

GURDASPUR (Web Desk) – Three people have died while ten people including seven civilians and three policemen have been injured in a suspected terrorist attack at Gurdaspur police station in Indian Punjab.

Four suspected terrorists hijacked white Maruti Alto car and attacked a state roadways bus going to Jammu, killing one person, reported Times of India.

The terrorists then attacked a local police station in Gurdaspur, killing a police official on duty. According to Indian media, the terrorists entered from Pathankot.

The terrorists are holed up in Gurdaspur police station and an encounter is under way, while army has reached the site.

The media reported that five live bombs were found on railway track near Gurdaspur.
Schools and colleges in Gurdaspur have been closed fearing an attack.
