SRINAGAR (Web Desk) – The administration has extended a ban on internet services for another day in Indian Occupied Kashmir saying that “use of internet could cause deterioration in law and order situation.”
The two-day ban which was previously announced to be ending at 10:00 am today will now end at 2 pm on Sunday.
Following the order all sorts of internet services including GPRS, 2G and 3G have withdrawn in the valley.
In the order, the service providers were directed to snap all data services.
“In view of the apprehension of misuse of data services (GPRS/2G/3G) by anti-national elements, which is likely to cause deterioration in law and order situation, you are requested to completely snap down the data services through GPRS/2G/3G and broadband till 2 PM of September 27”.
