ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Responding to the speech by Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj at UNGA, Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria said if India claims that Kashmir is its ‘integral part’, then “why is it on the Agenda of Security Council?”

Zakaria tweeted it’s strange that Indian foreign minister “is disowning the UN SC resolutions and that too at the UN”.

Pakistan also slammed India for completely disowning UN resolutions over Kashmir.
The spokesperson also revealed that the issue of Kashmir would be solved according to UN resolutions and that the will of Kashmiri people would be taken into consideration as well.
