LAHORE - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan Monday said the critics and the government would be surprised to see the whole nation backing his party's Raiwind March on September 30.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore, the PTI chief said that all of the opposition political parties are invited to attend the protest to seek an investigation into the Panama Papers leaks.

When asked how many people would attend the protest outside Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's residence in Raiwind, he confidently stated that it would be revealed on the day of the march.

He went on to say that peaceful protest is his party’s democratic right as all of the state institutions have failed to address our grievances despite repeated pleas.

Responding to a question about PTI's differences with Dr Tahiul Qadri's PAT, Imran Khan said "I don't know what the exact problem is." He avoided sharing any further details on the topic.

On the occasion, he also warned the government and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz workers to avoid any attempt to disrupt Raiwind March, saying "If they tried to disturb the flow of the march, we would not be able to control our political workers."

He insisted that the protest would be peaceful and within the course of law and constitution.

As far as the issue of Panama Papers leaks is concerned, all major political parties are on the same page, he said while urging all other parties to join the protest on September 30.
