RAWALPINDI (Staff Report) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif Sunday left for Afghanistan to hold meetings with top Afghan leadership including President Ashraf Ghani.
According to Director General Inter Services Public Relations Lt. General Asim Saleem Bajwa during the day-long trip army chief will take up matters related to border management and Afghan-led peace dialogue.

Media reports suggest that Raheel Sharif’s trip wil mainly revolve around the proposed Afghan-led peace dialogue with Taliban insurgents in meeting with Afghan leadership.
