Karachi bank heist: Robber makes off with millions unscathed

KARACHI (APP) A lone robber escaped after looting million of rupees from a private bank in North Nazimabad area of Karachi today (Friday), media reported.

According to sources, the robber entered the bank holding a hand grenade and threatened to explode the bomb as a result of which the bank staff became frightened whereas two guards ran away and one hid himself in the bank.

The robber broke the glass of cash counter and escaped after looting million of rupees.

However, police reached the scene to probe the incident.

According to the police, the robber appears to be a foreigner and was wearing shalwar kameez whereas steps will be taken to nab him from the CCTV footage of the bank.

Moreover, counting process of the money is underway to estimate the amount that has been robbed.
