Maldivian Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon to arrive in Islamabad today

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Foreign Minister of Maldives, Ms. Dunya Maumoon will Wednesday (today) arrive in Islamabad on a three-day official visit to Pakistan.

She will call on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and hold meetings with Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi.

In these meetings, Pakistan and the Maldives will review various aspects of their bilateral relations.

The Adviser will host a lunch in honour of the Foreign Minister and her delegation.

Pakistan and the Maldives enjoy close and cordial relations based on mutual trust, common faith and understanding.

The two countries have been actively cooperating with each other at the regional as well as the multilateral fora.
