ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The government has requisitioned Pakistan Army troops to control the situation in Red Zone of federal capital.
Thousands of stone-throwing supporters of Qadri marched towards the Parliament building. Mumtaz Qadri supporters clashed with police to mark his chehlum on Sunday.
According to DG Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa, Army has been requisitioned to secure the sensitive installations in Islamabad.

According to reports, thousands of devotees came together from all over Pakistan.
Reportedly uprising police carrying batons and shields fired tear gas to try to stop them pushing closer to the Islamabad centre.
According to media reports, Faizabad interchange has been blocked.
Authorities have placed containers on the road to block the procession and strict action is expected shall the procession attempts to enter the capital by force.
