Pakistan has a chance to jump to second position in ICC Test ranking

DUBAI (Staff Report) – While Pakistan won the second Test game of three match series against England, the team has chance to jump to second position in ICC Test ranking by outshining England in the final game that begins from November 1.

According to current ICC Test ranking, Pakistan is placed fourth with 101 points while England is present at number three with 102 points. Meanwhile South Africa and Australia are leading the list with 125 and 106 points respectively.

If Pakistan manages to defeat England in third Test match, winning the series by 2-0, the team will move to 106 points and hence gaining the second position in Test ranking. while England will slip to Fourth position after Australia.

However if the series ends in 1-1, both England and Pakistan will retain the same positions, third and fourth, in ICC rankings.

Moreover if the three match series ends in 1-0, third game end in a draw, both ranking will stay the same.
