MURIDKE (Web Desk) – A woman was allegedly burnt to death by unknown men at her residence in Muridke on Thursday.
Unidentified men barged into the house of Nazia, 35, the widow of prominent businessman Shahid Shakeel, at night and murdered her before setting her body on fire. The assailants fled the scene after wrapping the body in a quilt.
The police shifted the body to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities. The widow had been living with her three children who were out at the time of the crime, polices said.
The police have registered a case and started investigation.
Shakeel was killed by unidentified persons in front of his wife 18 months ago.
