Stop targeting civilians, Army DGMO tells India

RAWALPINDI – Director General Military Operations (DGMO) Major General Sahir Shamshad Mirza took the issue of targeting civilians in firing by Indian forces with his Indian counterpart Lt-General Anil Chauhan on Friday.

According to ISPR, the DGMOs of the two countries talked on hotline, who discussed the ceasefire violations along Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary.

The Pakistan DGMO said that the Indian forces were intentionally targeting the civilians on the Pakistani side of the LoC and working boundary.

The DGMO said that at least 219 civilians including 48 women and children have been killed and injured in Indian firing.
