QUETTA – Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Thursday inaugurated the first executive passport office of Balochistan in Quetta.
The project has been completed in four months period with a cost of Rs18 million in order to expedite the process. With opening of the executive office, the duration of the process will reduce to 20-25 minutes. Around 80 persons could be entertained at a same time.
The interior minister also visited different departments of the executive office and held a media talk. He said that modern facilities will be provided at this office. He said that the government was making efforts to fill the gap in development of Balochistan.
He announced plans to inaugurate four university campuses in coming days, adding that educated youth was essential for development of Balochistan.
The federal government also completed several road projects in the province which were shelved in the past, he said, adding that road network would bring revolution to the field of minerals.
The interior minister said that neigbouring country, India was trying to spread anarchy in Pakistan. He claimed that India was using Afghan soil to sabotage multi-billion dollar project China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He claimed that foreign hands were involved in attack on Church in Quetta.
Indian spy, Kulbhushan Jadhav also admitted that India was spending millions of dollars to ruin the CPEC, he added.
He said that the incumbent government of PML-N will achieve another milestone on completion of constitutional term. Talking of Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s All Parties Conference (APC), he said that Tahirul Qadri should call the APC for unity of nation not for sit-ins.
