Pakistan Army set up helpline in KP to report suspicious activity

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army has established a universal help-line “1125” for general public to report any suspicious activity or the presence of terrorists in any part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release in Peshawar, this measure has been taken by the army to mobilize the civil population and ward off untoward incidents.

People will be able to access the service 24/7 through PTCL numbers or mobile phones.  The identity of informants will be kept confidential, according to officials.
