This is what Bryan Adams had to say about his alleged affair with Princess Diana

LAHORE - Bryan Adams has never failed to make our hopeless romantic emerge from within us through his hit songs over the years. Who knew he has experienced it all himself with none other than the late Princess Diana? Diana succumbed to her fate in 1997 when she met with a car accident in Paris. Years later, Bryan is asked about their closeness and alleged affair.



Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell, on an episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, reportedly said he used to sneak Bryan into Kensington Palace to see her. Increasing speculations Bryan's partner Cecilie Thomsen had also admitted that there was an affair between the singer and the royal back in 1996. Furthermore, a song written by the hit maker for the tragedy stricken Princess just gave it away. He mentioned how she was the queen of his dreams in his original, Diana. The song was based on Diana's failed marriage with Prince Charles.



Bryan was recently a guest on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, on which he stated that him Diana were just good friends.

"There are many rumours that you and Princess Diana were once romantically involved. Her butler said that he used to sneak you into Kensington Palace. How would you characterise your relationship?” the host asked. The response was rather carefully put, “Great friends… And she didn’t sneak me in, I would just roll up, she was just… we were good friends.”

Seems like the host touched a sensitive aspect of Bryan's life.
