DUBAI – Soon, we will be seeing our favourite Pakistani and Bollywood celebrities under one roof, celebrating the relaunch of Bollywood’s most desired magazine, Filmfare (Middle East).
So while tensions between Pakistan and India prompt ban on Pakistani artists in Bollywood, it won’t be the case in Dubai where they all mingle together and have a good time.
According to reports, Danube is all set to re-launch ‘Filmfare Middle East’ on 30th March 2018. Few of the red carpet names suggested have been Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Vidya Balan, while Irrfan Khan won’t be able to make it due to his treatment.
From Pakistan’s side, Fawad Khan and Mehwish Hayat will be gracing the red carpet. Fawad also is the only Pkaistani artist to appear solo on the cover of Filmfare magazine.
Talking to Something Haute, Manju Ramanan, Editor Filmfare Middle East said, “Pakistani cinema is an important part of the pantheon of films from South Asia and accordingly Filmfare ME celebrates cinemas from the nationalities of the UAE. Also, Filmfare ME has a monthly dedicated section to Pakistani cinema.”
