ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – A spokesman of the President House has rejected media reports about the poor health of President Mamnoon Hussain as baseless.
The spokesman urged the media to act professionally and verify the facts before releasing news stories. He said that the President was in good health and performing his routine official duties.
The Spokesman further said that the First Lady was also fine and had no health issues.
President Mamnoon Hussain had earlier summoned the National Assembly in Islamabad at five pm on Tuesday. He had also summoned the Senate to meet in Islamabad at 10:30 on Thursday morning.
Both the sessions have been convened on request of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, which was acting on the Prime Minister’s advice
