KUALA LUMPUR (Staff Report) – Pakistan’s Hamza Akbar on Thursday won the final of Asian Snooker Championship in Malaysia.
Akbar won the title against India’s Pankaj Advani by 7 frames against 6 of his opponent.
According to the details, the challenge remained equal until the final frame which was initially led by Indian cueist but later on Akbar turned the table.
This is the second any Pakistani has won the Asian Snooker Championship. Muhammad Yousuf had won the title for Pakistan in 1998 previously.
