KARACHI (Staff Report) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) Wednesday adjourned hearing of a case against senior PPP leader and former minister for petroleum Dr Asim Hussain till January 8.
Hussain has been accused of sheltering and treating wanted terrorists and criminals at his hospital.
During the hearing the prosecution told court that one of the suspects named as accomplices in FIR against Dr Asim is on bail while others could not be arrested so far. At which court ordered to present a detailed report about arrest of accomplices and progress in investigation against Doctor on next hearing.
On court’s instruction Dr Asim Hussain was also given the record of statements of as many as 17 witnesses in the case.
