KARACHI (Staff Report) – Pillion riding has been banned in Karachi under the Section 144 to maintain law and order situation on the eve of New Year night.
According to Sindh Home Department, the ban will come into effect from 12am and remain in place till Jan. 1, 2016 (Friday).
The ban will not be applicable on women, children, senior citizens and journalists.
During the two days, aerial firing, display of arms, removal of silencer of motorcycles and one-wheeling of bikes would not be allowed,officials said.
