Announcing the price cut, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar held a press briefing and said the prices would go in effect from Friday midnight onwards until July 31st.
Prices of kerosene oil and light diesel have been maintained for the coming month whereas those of petrol and diesel have been revised.
Fuel stations are to dispense petrol at Rs 71.30 per litre and diesel at Rs 79.90 per litre.
