ISLAMABAD – Khawaja Saad Rafique is likely to be appointed as the new Minister for Information after Pervaiz Rasheed was sacked in connection with a leaked news report.
Rafique, who is an incumbent Minister for Railways is being considered to be conferred with the ministry of Information, previously held by Pervaiz Rasheed.
The media reports suggest Rafique will also be holding the Ministry of Railways in the meantime.
Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid was ousted on Saturday for being responsible for the leaked report published in Dawn reporting about rifts between Government and Military.
