ISLAMABAD – A delegation of Dawoodi Bohra community led by Vice President Faize Haakimi Mustansir H Poonawala called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi here on Thursday.
The Prime Minister appreciated the contributions of Bohra community especially towards social welfare and economic activities. He assured the delegation that the government would continue to provide every possible support to the community in its humanitarian and social work.
He also extended his best wishes for the leader of the community Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin and said that he looked forward to his visit to Pakistan.
Deputy Speaker, National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Minister of State for CADD Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Minister of State for Inter Provincial Coordination, Dr Darshan separately also called on the Prime Minister here on Thursday.
The Ministers of State briefed the Prime Minister on matters pertaining to their ministries while the Deputy Speaker discussed the matters pertaining to development schemes of his constituency during the meeting.- Online
