KARACHI – Indian actress Pooja Bhatt and renowned filmmaker Pooja Bhatt is celebrating Hindu festival, Diwali, also known as Festival of Lights, in port city of Karachi.
The Bollywood actress arrived in Pakistan last week. She is being hosted by singer Ali Azmat.
Soon after landing at Karachi airport, Bhatt had told the media she was happy to visit Pakistan.
“I have travelled to Pakistan several times,” she said, adding that flights were operating from India to Pakistan. “If ways were open, actors would be travelling between the countries.”
Pooja and her Bhatt family are known to give a break to talent from across the border, but this time round she said it is her personal trip.
The filmmaker premiered her directorial debut, Paap, at the Karachi Film Festival in 2003.
