Pakistan Navy rescues sunken ship crew

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Pakistan Navy on Sunday successfully rescued crew of a sunken fishing boat near Ormara, Balochistan.

The sunken fishing Boat Al Ameeri had a crew of seven fishermen. Three of the crew members were rescued earlier while the four missing were rescued by the Pakistan Navy.

Pakistan Navy had promptly responded to the call for help by immediately tasking its helicopter for search and rescue operation which lasted for one and a half hour resulting in safe recovery of all four fishermen from the sea.

The fishermen were then shifted to Pakistan Navy’s hospital PNS Darmaanjah at Ormara for medical treatment where all of them were declared to be in a stable condition.

Local community appreciated Pakistan Navy’s timely response and the successful operation.
