ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): Sindh High Court Chief Justice Maqbool Baqar on Tuesday took oath as a judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The oath was administered by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Nasirul Mulk in a simple ceremony at the Chief Justice House.
After Justice Baqar’s oath of office, the total number of serving Supreme Court judges has risen to 17.
Among others, the ceremony was attended by judges and registrar of the Supreme Court, the Attorney General for Pakistan and the president of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
