ISLAMABAD – The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet meets in Islamabad today with Finance Minister Asad Umar in the chair, the Radio Pakistan reported.
The meeting will consider various proposals related to petroleum, maritime affairs, revenue and power divisions.
The meeting would also consider gas demand projections on both short and long term basis.

The arrangement of an additional 200 MMCFD of LNG from Qatar will also be part of the discussion.
The committee would also discuss an agenda of Commerce Division for the establishment of Independent Insurance Regulator.
Extension of Interim Agreement signed with Fauji Kabirwala and Rousch Power Limited expiring on June 30, 2018, would also come up to the discussion of the committee.
