LAHORE – The energetic, bright and colourful teaser for Chhalawa is finally out, shortly after the trailer which was released a few weeks ago. The first look poster for the movie and the trailer did not give much away.
The Wajahat Rauf directional is not to be missed. And as always Mehwish Hayat has done an amazing performance as a Punjabi girl. Previously the Tamghe-i-Imtiaz holder was seen in hits movies like Enaaya, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani and Punjab Nahi Jaungi.

And following these ventures, Mehwish and Wajahaut are again coming yo with another laughter-filled entertainment package. We cannot wait to watch Mehwish Hayat in another enchanting onscreen role! Azfar Rehman plays the hero in the film. The movie cast also includes fine actors like Mehmood Aslam, Adnan Shah Tipu, Zara Noor Abbas and Asad Siddiqui.
The movie’s location and sets give major vibes of Punjab Nahi Jaunga with a common plot where there is trouble at the wedding. Mehwish Hayat can be seen upset in a bridal attire in the last few seconds of the movie’s teaser. The colourful and vibrant dresses wore by Mehwish and Zara are adding more desi touch to the movie.

Zara Noor is also debuting in the film industry along with her husband and we wonder what role she is being assigned. Teaser has kept many things in suspense and has added curiosity in the viewer’s mind. Mehwish is acting against Azfar in the movie.
Let’s see if the couple ends up together or the film ends up in tragedy; that will be disclosed once the movie releases. In short, The teaser looks fun, interesting and colourful.
Chhalawa will be releasing along The legend of Maula Jatt this Eid-ul-Fitr. One after the other much-awaited movies will be seen this June. We are glad to see Pakistani cinema reviving and producing movies with strong messages.
