RAW’s involvement in Shuja Khanzada s killing can t be ruled out: experts

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Martyred Punjab Home Minister Col (R) Shuja Khanzada was active against India’s premier spy agency, Research and Analysis (RAW) had foiled many attempts of the agency to sabotage the Zimbabwe cricket team’s tour of Pakistan in May.

According to security experts, involvement of Raw behind killing of Shuja Khanzada can’t be ruled since Shuja Khanzada was pro-active against RAW’s sabotage bids in Punjab and had exposed RAW on many occasions.

The experts cited two main examples where Shuja Khanzada challenged RAW and openly accused it of major terrorists activities in Punjab.

On August 4, 2015 Shuja Khanzada while giving details of progress in a case pertaining to attack on churches in Youhanabad, Lahore, had claimed that 10 militants had been held in connection with the incident who had received Indian directives and funding.

While addressing a press conference, he had said the militants terrorists were being supported by Indian spy agency RAW through Afghanistan. He added that evidence pertaining to this involvement had been obtained.

On March, 15, 2015 about 15 people were killed and 70 others were hurt when two bomb blasts hit Roman Catholic Church and Christ Church during Sunday service at Youhanabad area of Lahore.

Shuja Khanzada said that a terrorist network comprising 10 suicide bombers had been sent by RAW in Punjab for terrorists activities.

On June 23, 2015 while addressing a Punjab Assembly session Khanzada said that RAW tried to sabotage Pak-Zimbabwe cricket series.

The experts say that these two instances show that RAW had taken revenge from Shuja Khanzada by killing him in Attock since RAW had active network of suicide bombers in Punjab.
