Former DG ISPR Athar Abbas to be appointed Pakistani HC to UK

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The federal government has decided to appoint former Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major-General (retd) Athar Abbas as Pakistan’s High Commissioner to United Kingdom.

The incumbent Pakistani High Commissioner to UK, Ibn-e-Abbas, will leave office in November this year. The former DG ISPR will assume the new position after his departure.

A formal notification is expected to be issued in near future.
