KALLAR KAHAR (Online) – At least six passengers were killed and 20 others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in Kallar Kahar on the motorway near Salt Range on Friday.
The bus was going to Lahore from Islamabad, when it met the fateful incident. Rescue teams shifted the injured to hospitals in Chakwal, Bhalwal and Rawalpindi.
Five people killed in the accident were identified as Abu Bakr, Yasir Ali, Ahmad Saeed, Nadeem and Arshad.
According to the police, the accident occurred following the brake failure of the truck, which skidded off the road before hitting the bus.
