Indian foreign secretary to visit Pakistan in March

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Indian Foreign Secretary Subrahmanyam Jaishankar is expected to visit Islamabad for secretary-level talks in March.

The talks are expected to resume in the first week of March 2015, senior diplomats from either side told a local media house.
Diplomats are in touch over the expected visit and are finalising the agenda of the talks.

The Pakistani diplomat was not sure about the exact date, but said it was hoped that the final date would also be communicated shortly.
According to sources, Jaishankar is scheduled to visit Dhaka on March 2nd and Islamabad may come next in his itinerary.

Relations between the neighbours soured over increased firing along their borders and India called of foreign secretary-level talks in August enraged that Pakistan consulted Kashmiri separatist leaders before the dialogue began.
